Third-year students of the Tourism Guidance Department, as part of their Social Responsibility Project within the scope of the Sustainable Tourism Course, carried out a meaningful activity at Fevzi Paşa Primary School. Led by the course instructor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail ÇALIK, the event aimed to instill sustainable environmental awareness in fourth-grade primary school students.

Throughout the event, students were given informative and educational information about the importance of nature conservation, the role of environmentally conscious behavior in daily life, recycling, the conscious use of natural resources, and the negative effects of environmental pollution. The presentations were delivered using age-appropriate, engaging, and memorable methods, while visual materials and interactive activities ensured the students' active participation in the process.

The event contributed to raising environmental awareness among primary school students, while also enabling university students to develop their sense of social responsibility, communication skills, and professional experience. The project, which emphasized the importance of instilling sustainable tourism concepts at a young age, was well-received by the participants.
