On December 23, 2025, the Faculty of Tourism held a meeting with external stakeholders regarding the course curricula of the departments. The meeting first reviewed the curriculum, class hours, and semesters of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department. The Head of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savaş EVREN, consulted with the instructors teaching in the department. Subsequently, the Head of the Tourism Guiding Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail ÇALIK, posed the same questions to the instructors in that department. In both departments, adjustments were evaluated based on the general consensus reached.


The joint decisions made at the meeting regarding the faculty and departments are listed below:

  • The possibility of combining foreign language courses in the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department and the Tourism Guiding Department will be discussed.
  • The up-to-date status of digital and teaching equipment in the faculty will be checked.

 

The meeting concluded with good wishes from the department heads and course instructors.
