On December 22, 2025, a "Knowledge Quiz" was organized for our Tourism Guiding Department students to reinforce their field knowledge and provide a fun activity. The event began with a presentation by our 4th-year Tourism Guiding student, Elif CANKURT, followed by speeches from our Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Prof. Dr. Sevim Beyza ÖZTÜRK SARIKAYA, and our Head of the Tourism Guiding Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail ÇALIK. The judging panel consisted of our department lecturers, Research Assistants Zekiye Nur AKYÜREKLİ and Burak İNANÇ. The competition started with the selection of two teams by drawing lots. Students were asked questions in the fields of Mythology, History of Religions, History, Tourist Guiding, Geography, and Archaeology. The team consisting of 4th-year Tourism Guiding students Selçuk ÖZKÖK and Mehmet Can AKBULUT, 3rd-year Tourism Guiding student Sinem SIĞINMIŞ, and 2nd-year Tourism Guiding student Mustafa Mert ATICI won the competition. Our students, who received their awards from our department professors, and our student presenter were presented with certificates of appreciation by our Faculty of Tourism professors. We thank our Faculty of Tourism professors and students who participated in the competition.
